Okan University joins FP7 consortium

The European Commission has officially validated and approved Okan University as a member of a Framework Programme 7 (FP7) project ELEVATE, which is composed of participant reserach and technology organisations from Germany, Belgium, Italy, Greece and Turkey. ELEVATE project targets development of new Electronic Learning methodologies and software to produce content automatically for distance learning systems for application software. With this approval Okan University, which puts special emphasis in research and project development, receives its one of the first project from the prestigious European framework programmes science and research funds and joins the small community of elite Turkish universities which has been awarded with FP7 projects. The two-year reserach and development project is coordinated by CAS, Karlsruhe, Germany's leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software company, and Okan University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture is responsible for tasks including theoretical methodology , innovation management, content development and dissemination.
